Snoop Dogg has been the rave of the moment and has been celebrated by many most especially fans, friend, and well-wishers. At the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony this week had quite the turnout. Dr Dre, Pharrell Williams, Quincy Jones and Jimmy Kimmel all lined Hollywood Boulevard to see the hip-hop legend accept the 2,651st star on the iconic California strip. And boy, Snoop did not disappoint.
Snoop Dogg thanking Jones (his music producer), collaborators and fans, the iconic rapper turned the attention to himself. His words are: “I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I want to thank me for having no days off, I want to thank me for never quitting, I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive,” he said. “I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong, I want to thank me for just being me at all times. Snoop Dogg, you a bad motherf*****.”
Snoop Dogg whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. acts as his own verbal hype man, logo-ed up in Gucci. Wearing a camel coat thrown over his roll-neck jumper and gold T medallion, he rocked it and dropped it like it was hot and proved why his career has spanned three decades and counting.
